PCCMA Announces "Our Increasingly Diverse Community" Conference
February 16-17, 2009

Pennsylvania Catholic Campus Ministers’ Association Conference
Monday & Tuesday February 16-17, 2009 at the Hotel Hershey
Our Increasingly Diverse Community
With Keynote Speaker F. Javier Orozco, SFO, Ph.D., Associate Director of Religious Diversity, DePaul University

Come to the Sweetest Place on Earth!!! Tucked in the rolling hills of Central Pennsylvania, this idyllic escape offers the latest and greatest in entertainment and hospitality, fused with the traditions of one of America’s original success stories.

It was here that Milton S. Hershey opened the world’s first modern chocolate factory in 1905. Wanting to give something back to the community, he built a "model town" to provide his employees and their families with an attractive and comfortable place to live, work and play.

Situated high atop the town of Hershey, Pennsylvania, The Hotel Hershey is a getaway in itself. This is a place to awaken your senses, soothe your soul, and experience the finest in elegance and service. It's Milton Hershey's ultimate expression of grandeur.

The Hotel Hershey has received the AAA Four-Diamond Award for 27 consecutive years, the most of any resort or hotel in Pennsylvania. The Hotel has also earned the Mobil Four-Star distinction for more than 16 years.

About the Keynote Speaker:
In his position as Associate Director for Religious Diversity, F. Javier Orozco, SFO, Oh.D., provides leadership to DePaul University in the area of Interreligious and Ecumenical ministry. Since his arrival to DePaul in 1995, his service has included residential ministry, retreat ministry and ongoing pastoral care ministry. His teaching experience involves undergraduate and graduate courses. His professional service includes being an executive board officer for the Catholic Campus Ministry Association.

Javier has a Ph.D. (Theology), a B.A., M.A. (Philosophy), and an S.T.B (Systematic Theology). Javier is a professed brother in the Secular Franciscan Order. Currently, he serves as the Local Minister to the Brother Jocoba Community, and is the Vice Minister for the Mother Cabrini Region of the Secular Franciscan Order. He is married to his lovely wife, Theresa.
